| 9/28/06 = Points from race #13 are now online. 9/19/06 = At the September Board Meeting, it was again agreed to open the
first Rules Committee Meeting to the general membership for
one on one input. The meeting is Saturday October 21, 10am-12noon
at G&J Kartway (in the tower). Anyone not able to attend and would
like to have input, just email comments to the Rules Committee Director,
Rick Coombs at RC3156@aol.com. Also on October 21, 1pm-5pm at G&J Kartway there will be a
Final track clean up day for the 2006 season, getting the track
ready for the winter season. There will be sealing of the cracks in
the track itself as well as other general repair and winterizing. Anyone
participating in the clean up day will receive a (P) for your 4 hours,
to go towards your year ending points and participation. Keep in
mind that the track will be closed to testing from Oct 21 thru Oct 23,
to let the sealing setup. Welcome new OVKA Board Member Doug Benson. He is filling
the vacancy left by the resignation of Steve Rumsey. Doug can be
seen racing on the track in the Yamaha Lite Class. Please congratulate

Carolyn Marsh (Keith Marsh's wife) has passed away after a battle with
Melanoma. The Marsh Family is in the thoughts and prayers of all the
OVKA members. MARSH Carolyn M. (nee Hodges) of Loveland, OH. Cherished daughter of Marie P. (nee Warner) and the late Lloyd C. Hodges, beloved wife of Keith Marsh, devoted mother of Joseph and Alexandra Marsh, loving sister of Jeff (Jane) Hodges, Brian (Jeni) Hodges, and Scott Hodges, dear daughter-in-law of Robert (Etta Rae) Marsh, caring sister-in-law of David (Virginia) Marsh and Jeff (Crystal) Marsh. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Thursday, August 17, 2006 at age 39. Friends will be received from 10-11 A.M. on Monday, August 21, 2006 at St. Margaret of York Catholic Church, 9495 Columbia Rd., Loveland, OH 45140, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. Due to S.I.R.A (Southern Indiana Racing Association) having a race at the
track. Anyone wanting to race with them this weekend click on their link for their
race day entry details. Saturday is SIRA Practice, Sunday is Race. 8/1/06 = Points from race #10 have now been added to the Points Standings page. On Oct 1st at OVKA's final race (race #14) at G&J. There will
once again the annual Pumkin carving contest. There will be
prizes awarded for the best carved/decorated. Stay tuned
