There is not a season ending clean up day on the OVKA schedule nor is there plans for one. So if you still need to gain your participation credit (P) for year-end prizes, you only have 3 race days to do so. This is nothing new, just a friendly reminder.

2008 Rules Committee General Meeting

The first meeting of the 2008 Rule Committee will be at 10am on Saturday, October 6 2007 at G&J Kartway (tower building). ALL OVKA MEMBERS are invited to participate in this meeting to share ideas and suggestions for the 2008 rulebook. If you are unable to attend, email suggestions to committee chairperson, Rick Coombs, at RC3156@aol.com so they can be compiled and discussed at the general meeting.

Points Race #8 & #9 standings are now available.

Starting Monday July 9th G&J will be CLOSED / unavailable for practice due to the track work and expansion. It will reopen before OVKA race #11 which is on August 12. Stay tuned here or contact Gary Gregg at G&J for offical reopening date and additional information.

All remaining unreserved pit spots will be availabale for reservation at a reduced rate of $75 per spot. Contact Hal Thornton for more pit spot information at hthornton@cinci.rr.com

SIRA has scheduled a race at G&J Kartway on September 8th. This is the Saturday before OVKA race #13 at G&J. Click here for more information on the SIRA series and entry / class details.

Just a reminder that in order to be elligable for year end participation prizes each member must have two (2) Participation Credits (P's). This can be accomplished by working at one of the remaining series races. Contact Lynda Whitaker to get on the worker schedule today (while spots are still avaialble).
